Perception, opinion, fact and truth. How much do we believe the internet?

Just because we Google everything it does not make us truly capable, but it does make us very opinionated about our point of view. Most people confuse the quantity of information they get with good valuable information. Why can we apply the concept of marketing to everyday life? Quality vs Quantity.

The Internet has given us an amazing access to some great information in the last 15 years.  Some people have read more trivial information in the last years than they have read real books in their lifetime. Quality vs Quantity. With this information we get to analyze the currents trends and tendencies of the consumer (their likes, wants and needs. Trivial can be true but how useful or important it?  To us marketers, It is. The Internet is a great influential tool to alter or modify people´s view and tendencies in today´s market. At the end of the day, that is what creates sales, and sales create money.

Everything has to be done in moderation. Expand the horizons and learn. Experiences and knowledge are earned through hard work and not through social media.  Social media is a venue to inform and share information, like we are doing with you  :-) The quality of your conversation is more important that the quantity of your words. These are successful business tactics applied to every day life.
Are you this bad, or this good?

  2. And using Wikepedia as seasoning for those croutons. Fact checking is getting to be a lost art. Sometimes the most popular post is considered true for being popular than for its veracity.
